About Mallory
Mallory was the All American tween girl. She was an avid gymnast, cheerleader, and lover of all things outdoors. Her devotion to competitive cheer and gymnastics taught her determination and humility at a very young age. Mallory loved spending summer weekends at her favorite campgrounds with her family, where she’d admire the simple pleasures of nature. Her love for her friends, family, and even those she didn’t know, was immeasurable.
Mallory always had a love for arts and crafts. When she found out that children with cancer couldn’t go to camp for free, her entrepreneurial wheels began to turn. She made and sold bracelets in an effort to raise money for her favorite charity, Camp Good Days. Mallory called her life, “a bracelet KIND of life,” and understood that something as simple as a bracelet on your arm could act as a reminder to be the good in our world. Mallory’s creativity was rivaled only by her compassion.
With so much life ahead of her, the unimaginable occurred. Sadly, on June 14th, 2017, Mallory took her own life due to horrific bullying. Mallory was a unique and innocent girl who taught us all so much about life in her short time with us.
Mallory’s Army Foundation has adopted Mallory’s belief of “living a bracelet KIND of life”. We move forward and believe that change can come from the smallest places. Something as simple as wearing a bracelet can enact change, when that bracelet is a reminder to always exhibit kindness and be a force for good.
